Illinois State Bodybuilding

This past weekend was the Illinois State Bodybuilding show. I felt good going into the show and was confident. Looking back I feel my conditioning was on, though I did feel a little flat but my posing was off. Unfortunately after looking at the pictures I am not happy with my presence on stage. It really bothers me because I have been practicing posing for months, taken lots of pictures and I just didn't put it together. It is much better I figure this out now, then at Jr's in a few weeks.

In the end I came out winning my class but not the overall. Even had my posing been perfect I don't think I would've taken the title as the women who beat me was quite a bit larger-in my eyes I felt she was more built for bodybuilding then figure but it was what the judges wanted that day. Hopefully the judges at Jr's will be looking for a slightly different package but only time will tell.
